Despite not fielding a team on the field in 2020, the Racine Raiders still continued with their mission of giving back to the community. The Raiders awarded three, $500, non-recurring scholarships to deserving graduating seniors from Racine County’s nine highs schools. The recipients are:

Victoria Van DanVictoria Van Dan is a Burlington High School graduate who was a multi-sport athlete in soccer and volleyball. Outside of school, she is active in 4-H. Victoria will study biomedical engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

The Raiders annually offer at least three scholarships. Information is sent out in January to each of the school’s guidance offices and the application deadline is in early-May.  Graduating seniors in the class of 2022 that are interested in a scholarship should check with their career guidance counselor and the Raiders website or social media platforms for more information when it becomes available.
