The Racine Raiders defense extended their scoreless streak to 19 quarters without allowing a point in an official game while showcasing their dominance across the board. The Raiders would win 30-0 over the St. Paul Pioneers at home on Saturday to extend their winning streak to 23 games, which is tied for the third-longest winning streak in Raiders team history.

 

The Raiders offense continued their success by totaling just under 300 yards while adding one rushing and three receiving touchdowns in their win over the Pioneers.

The Raiders defense showed their dominance allowing less than 30 total yards. The Raiders defense also added eight sacks and two turnovers in their win.

The Raiders started the game on a roll when they received the opening kickoff and just two plays later scored on the opening drive. Andre Locke, Sr. was able to find Jersey Eickhorst over the top on a deep post route for a 36-yard passing touchdown. Brady Wodack came on and missed the extra point, pushing it right, making it 6-0 less than a minute into the game.

The Raiders next score of the game came on a checkdown from Locke to running back Tom Benko where Benko was able to find the endzone for a 19-yard touchdown. Wodack came on to make the extra point to make it 13-0 with just under five minutes remaining in the first quarter.

 

The Raiders added another score when Tom Benko was able to find the endzone once again this time with a four-yard rushing touchdown. Wodack came on and made the extra point making it 20-0 with just under seven minutes remaining in the second quarter.

The Raiders added another score in the second quarter after Jordan Danowski intercepted the Pioneers giving the Raiders great field position in Pioneers territory. Locke was able to add his third passing touchdown of the game when he connected with Joe Garcia at the goal line on a diving catch for a nine-yard touchdown. Wodack came on to make the extra point making it 27-0 with just over one minute remaining in the second quarter.

The Raiders final score of the game came from Wodack when he made his third field goal on the season. Wodack was easily able to make it through the uprights on a 32-yard field goal to make it 30-0 with just over four minutes remaining in the third quarter.

Locke completed 9-of-14 attempts for 103 yards and three touchdowns. Sawyer Schick completed 5-of-9 attempts for 86 yards and Antonie McKinney completed 1-of-5 attempts for four yards.

Jordan Payne led the way in receiving in his first game played this season with three receptions for 55 yards. Eickhorst tallied two receptions for 38 yards and one touchdown. Dillion Flores added one reception for 32 yards while Tom Benko totaled two receptions for 24 yards and one touchdown. Garcia tallied one reception for nine yards and one touchdown while Bubba Rewolinski added three receptions for 15 yards.

Rashawn Herron led the way in rushing once again totaling three attempts for 46 yards. Sean White added four attempts for 25 yards and Benko tallied one rush for four yards and one touchdown.

 

Leading the way defensively was lineman Cordero Williams who totaled seven tackles, four sacks, and six tackles for loss. Defensive lineman Niko Lemke added four tackles, two sacks, and three tackles for loss while Danowski led the secondary once again with two tackles and one interception on the night.

The Raiders will have a bye for the next week but will be back on the road the following week when they look to extend their winning streak to 24 games and close out the regular season when they face the Southern Indiana Bobcats at Edgewood High School in Ellettsville, Indiana on July 27th. The game will have a 5 pm CT kickoff and an official viewing party will be held at Angry Brothers Pub and Grill in Mount Pleasant.
