Coach Hicks joined the Racine Raiders as offensive coordinator in 2019. He played tight end for the aiders from 2015-2018. Chris decided to hang up the cleats after suffering a broken collarbone that ended his 2018 season. He ended his playing career with the Raiders hauling in 68 passes for 1,076 yards, a 15.8 yard-per-catch average, and nine touchdowns.
Hicks graduated from Washington Park High School where he lettered in football, basketball, and track. He continued playing football at Rochester Community Technical College (RCTC) in Minnesota. After playing at RCTC, he coached there one season before returning to Racine.
Back in Racine, Chris coached youth and high school football. He coached football at William Horlick High School and track at The Prairie School.
Coach Hicks lives in Racine with his wife, Heather, and his daughter.
