The 2023 Gridiron Developmental Football League (GDFL) National Champion Racine Raiders will host their second Organized Team Activity (OTA) for returning and prospective players. The OTA also functions as tryouts for the team. This is an opportunity to get work in, meet the 2024 coaching staff, and learn about the Raiders philosophy on the quest to repeat as GDFL National Champions.
The second OTA has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 3 pm to 6 pm at Historic Horlick Athletic Field (1648 N. Memorial Dr.) in Racine. The gates will open at 2 pm for registration. This will be held outdoors on a newer field turf surface. No football equipment is needed for this OTA other than appropriate cleats. There is no fee to attend or to play for the team.
Liability waivers required for all participants. Contracts and injury insurance coverage are in effect the first PRACTICE at Historic Horlick Athletic Field. Injury insurance coverage is not in effect for this OTA.
Prospective players are encouraged to complete a short player recruitment form. Anyone over 18 years of age is encouraged to attend the OTA’s. You can download, complete, and bring these forms with you to speed up the registration process at the OTA.
