The Racine Raiders and City of Racine Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services department are teaming up to beautify Historic Horlick Athletic Field with a new Champions Plaza that will feature engraved bricks that individuals and businesses may purchase.
There are several options for bricks including standard, large, and school/team bricks that are available to purchase. In addition, replica bricks can be purchased to give as gifts or keep at home or the work place to commemorate a team or individual. Bricks are reasonably-priced from $125 for small bricks to $255 for school/team bricks. Replica bricks cost extra.
Brick purchasers can include lines of text and icons or graphics on their bricks. This is a great way to honor a team, player, coach, administrator, volunteer, visionary, or any other loved one or friend that made a positive contribution to sports in the Racine community and you’d like to immortalize in Champions Plaza.
The Champions Plaza will add a pleasant gathering place to Historic Horlick Athletic Field and honor the history of sport in Racine.
Bricks are available on a first come, first serve basis so individuals and businesses are encouraged to act quickly!
