The Racine Raiders are making a change to their ticket prices for the first time in 15 years. The price of an adult ticket will increase from $8 to $10. A senior ticket (ages 55+) will increase a dollar to $6 while a student ticket (ages 6-17). With the price changes to single tickets, the team is also adjusting the popular Family Pack which will now include two adult tickets and two student tickets for $25, a savings of $7 off the regular price.
“Even with these small increases, we’re still the best sports entertainment value in Southeastern Wisconsin,” said Vice President of Marketing Don Wadewitz. “You’re not going to be able to go to any major or minor league sporting event and get the value that we offer with the Racine Raiders.”
While there were several factors that contributed to the decision to raise ticket prices this year, one in particular was the driving force for the organization.
“While we have few personnel costs as a fully volunteer organization, safety is a top priority,” said Wadewitz. “We added more security and the cost per officer has increased.”
The Racine Raiders open their 70th season on Saturday, May 13, at 7 pm. against the Baltimore Lightning. It’s D.W. Davies Education Appreciation Night and one of the Racine high schools located East of Interstate 94 will win a $500 donation to their school. The Raiders will also recognize their four scholarship recipients at halftime of the game. Single game tickets will go on sale on Saturday, April 15.
Wondering if you have any handicap specials. My 32 year old daughter is in a wheelchair and has been attending all home games for the past 15+ years. I see there is senior citizens discount just wondering if you have any disability discount. Thank you for your time.
Hi Tracy, sorry for the delay in our response. We currently don’t offer any specials for our fans with disabilities. I will mention it to our marketing team to see if there’s something they can implement for the future. Thanks for being a fan!
