Hart played for the Raiders from 1962-1975. He was a 12-time all-league selection, including eight-time Central States Football League selection which was a league record. He coached the team from 1979-1981. He served on the board of directors from 2002-2022 when he finally retired from the team. Hart is a member of the American Football Association Semi-Pro Football Hall of Fame and the United States Football Association Hall of Fame.
Hart also officiated for three decades and was named the head of officials for the Professional Indoor Football League in 1997.
