The Racine Raiders are thrilled to announce that starting in 2026, we’re taking our legendary tradition to the Mid-West United Football League (MWUF).
This move isn’t just about football. It’s about bringing the action closer to home, creating unforgettable game-day experiences, and giving our fans the competitive matchups they crave. The MWUF features some of the toughest teams in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota, and the Raiders are ready to dominate.
Why MWUF?
- Regional Rivalries: More games against Wisconsin and Illinois powerhouses mean shorter travel and bigger crowds.
- Fan Experience: Every home game at Historic Horlick Athletic Field will feel like a championship atmosphere.
- Player Development: The MWUF is committed to professionalism and growth, aligning perfectly with the Raiders’ mission.
“Our fans deserve the best, and this move delivers just that,” said Raiders President Matt Nelson. “The MWUF gives us competitive football, local rivalries, and the chance to keep building our incredible tradition.”
