Despite the current economic conditions, the Racine Raiders are once again offering non-renewable, $500 college scholarships to high school seniors graduating from a Racine County high school. The applicant must have been involved in athletics as a player, cheerleader, dance team member, coach, or manager at a school or in athletics in the community to be eligible while maintaining a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
The letter of application should include:
- Goals for college or technical college including your planned major
- How your planned studies will affect your life after college
- Interests, both at school and outside of school
- Involvement in athletics
- Statement of need or why you’re deserving of this scholarship
Send your letter of application, postmarked no later than May 7, 2021, to the Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce (RAMAC):
